Post FAP SUPPORT - [albumimg]#[/albumimg] In Signature?

I uploaded an image - 375 px X 75 px - and was provided by the system a BBCode like this: .

When I put that into my signature it gave my signature a really small image - almost like a thumbnail.

Any thoughts about how to get that regular size in there?

Try using [fullalbumimg]#[/fullalbumimg] instead.

Thanks for the idea.  Now nothing is showing up and when I revert back to my original attempt nothing shows up then either.  I've gotta do some troubleshooting.  It was odd the first time out too as it just showed up at one point.  ?

Using the standard phpBB it should have work with either albumimg or fullalbumimg

Try a simple text signature. If it does not appear then it is most likely not a problem with FAP, but more a function of how signatures work in phpBB.

    * Insure that BBCode is ON for posting
    * If you did not use a signature in the past then it will not appear in previous post.
    * If Attach Signature box is not checked when posting it will not appear.
    * If you want the signature to appear in past posts (when a signature was not used before), then you must edit the post and check the Attach Signature box

Thanks, guys.

I am using BBCode text in my signature: URL to tutorials on the board - so signatures are working and BBCode is working.

When I hit Preview with my text sig while updating it in Profile it works.
When I hit Preview with my image sig while updating it in Profile it shows nothing.

The other links also don't get me to the bottom of the problem.

Odd

I've tried it again and I just can't get the [albumimg] in the signature to work.  Signatures work.  BBCode in the signatures work.  Just not this particular aspect.  It's actually fairly important because I want my advertisers to be able to put their banner in their signature.

I am using Categories Hierarchy (2.1.6) on a vanilla phpBB 2.0.22.  In the profile area when you set your signature - it's basically the same as posting_body.tpl, you can preview the results before submitting.

Does the albumimg/sig appear in album comments?

Does the albumimg bbcode work when used within the forum post?

Ok.  I think I know what the problem is.

Both [albumimage] and [fullalbumimage] work in the signature, the first showing a thumbnail and the second showing the whole thing.  But it works in ptifo and NOT the Hierarchy_pro styles, which is also the case with trying to delete pictures (see other thread on that).  It works in the non-Hierarchy_pro styles.

Any thoughts on this?

I think I'll take this question over to the Hierarchy_pro guys.  Is there anything I can suggest to them to get them started looking in the right direction?

I may be wrong, but I think you didn't modify the bbcode.tpl properly... or it works in a different way for those styles.

That's a great idea.  I'll go back through the edits to see what I've done there.

I'm also using a different BBCode MOD - Advanced BBCode or something like that.

I'll check it out.  Thx!
