SOLVED FAP SUPPORT - Guests Can't Rate

luckyou03 Joined: March 2007 Posts: 30 Location:	FAP SUPPORT - Guests Can't Rate ok here is a screen shot of my settings, yet when i'm logged out i can't rate anything. After I rate as a guest it says " Your message has been entered successfully. Click Here to view your message Click here to return to the Album Index " The rating doesnt change when i do this several times. Then I'll log in and rate and it works perfect.

I was checking with Icy Phoenix's FAP and the rate option doesn't seem to appear for unregistered users ... either a bug or my error

I did check FAP on a standard phpBB board and got the same results as you.

Try this fix...it should work

OPEN album_showpage.php

FIND

Code: [Download] [Hide] [Select]

if ( ($album_config['rate'] == 1) && ($auth_data['rate'] == 1) && ($userdata['session_logged_in']) )

REPLACE WITH

Code: [Download] [Hide] [Select]

if ( ($album_config['rate'] == 1) && ($auth_data['rate'] == 1) )

I've removed in Icy Phoenix (and probably next FAP) the possibility for guests to rate pictures... I think it is not a good idea allowing guests to rate, because someone may rate pictures more than once, distorting rating results.
