I installed FAP today with all success, and that is an amazings scripts, I think this is the solution to my site. Congratulations to all people that creatin these scripts, specially to might to put all togheter.

But Im searching here in this forum for a modification and dont found, if you could say if is possible or if have it here I´ll appreciate.

I would like to limite users (by groups) to upload a limited number of pictures day by day, eg:

group A can upload 1 pic by day
group B can upload 10 pics by day
group C have no limits
etc...

I would like to configure like this because I dont have much space on my host and limiting is a way to have no abuses.

I hope my text is easy to understand.

Yeah, I believe it, is the next step.

But I think I didn't express myself clearly, sorry. When I say "I have a little space" is not a basic and little host, I have a dedicated server, but Im thinking in the future, because this, I treat the subject like I had a little host...

In a forum with more than 16.000 members (half actives), tools to limit abuses is the best way, even if I have a big host. This is the reason because I need more tools before rent a new and bigger server.

A bigger host would be full quickly if I have no tools to control abuses and permit all uploads that this amazing album script permit.

I´ll apreciate if somebody could help with my question,

Unfortunately currently FAP doesn't manage Groups Permissions in a good way, and the whole thing should be rewritten... but it will be considered only in a new project, because FAP is now too big and since phpBB 3 is now RC3 may be it is worth put efforts in developing a new gallery system for this new version.

Having said that, and back on main topic request, I have to think about your request if it could be accomplished in an easy way.

I guess it would be easier to impose a global limit to all users and then allow only some usergroups to bypass it. This should of course simplify things.

A global limit should be quite easy to be implemented. Then you will only need special groups permissions...

If you are confident with PHP I may help you in coding this.
