ive honestly tried everything even replacing my modded files with a clean installation but i still cant create new personall galeries

whenever someone goes to to their album for the first time, theres a link that says "create personal gallery" or whatever and when you click it, it goes to

/album_personal_cat_admin.php?action=create&user_id=whatever

and says that the category has been created even though it hasnt

any ideas what could have gone wrong?

well my site is actually pretty heavily modded, but like i said, i put the original files back and it still didnt work

and the only thing i changed from that file was making it an image link instead of text, but even with the original php and tpl files, it still didnt work, so im guessing its something outside that i edited

you click "create" and it says "new category has been created succesfully" even though it hasnt

i just reinstalled the whole mod for the third time (even the database deleting all the tables and  photos) and still nothing

EDIT: oh and also, i can create other categories just fine. from the ACP, or back when i had two functional user albums, they could create subcategories in their personal galleries
