I got a question about the games for activity mod.

Not all games you found on the internet works for this mod.
Does anybody know why not?

I have a lot of cool flashgames I would like to see on my website with working highscores.
For example winterbells and many more.
Could anybody give me some more links with games which work with the activity mod and register highscores?

But the main question: How can these games be converted somehow, to get them working on the activity mod WITH highscores!

PS Im not talking about the games which can be downloaded from icyphoenix.co.uk, those are fine. But I have 2000+ flashgames on my computer I would like to install!

If I have a tutorial with the direct steps, I am willing to create a lot of new gamepacks. :loveit:

I tried converting files, and replacing certain files of games that currently work on the activity mod, but not luck there...
Could the problem be in the flash files itself?
Most of the time adding the game is not the problem, but when you want to play the game, it just freezes while loading or you get a blank screen.

Hope to have some new games soon!

Regarding High Scores the problem is just newscore.php, while regarding games freezing I don't know...

You will need to provide us one of those games to test... currently I have no time for this, but maybe DWho could help.

Did anybody take a look at this one?

As I am still willing to make a lot of flashgames, but I really can not seem to get them to work with the icy phoenix version of activity mod....

Could someone please post a walktrough, so I can do this on my own?
And yes, I will share those flashgames, and I will even make gamepacks for them.

On a beta version, I tried an other version of activity mod in combination with IcyPhoenix, and that one could handle all flashgames! But that one does not work anymore for IP 1.3.

Hope someone can help me out with this!

Please list your issues with Flash Games and we will try to help.

Regarding High Scores you need to provide the files which updates High Scores for those games so I can see which is the table to be edited and try to fix the correct values.

I just tested a game, called BlocksGC. If you have a highscore, it gets redirected to the following link:
{SITEROOT}index.php?act=Arcade&do=newscore. Whatever setting you choose!

I attached 2 games, and all other games I would like to have, have the same construction.

I hope somebody can help me with this! Or what .php file I need to edit. Or how I can fix this....

The problem is that the link is called via FLASH game, and you would need the source of that game to be able to edit it.

Unless you are able to configure different options via the PHP files provided, but you would need a reference for properly doing that.

As far as I can see, those games are coded for IPB, can you try to get the right files in IPB which manages the high scores? That would be of great help.
