[BUG] Often "shoutbox" On Viewonline.php

Subject: [BUG] Often "shoutbox" On Viewonline.php
Often happens that in viewonline.php it writes that a user is in SHOUTBOX while it's not the truth. He is viewing another section of XS or of the forum.
So, if I reload the page, now I see truly where the users is.

This morning I was chatting with a friend who was on my forum.
In the viewonline page it was written that he was viewing rss feed, and I asked him what he did and he said me that he just viewed some topics and he also doesn't know what a rss feed is.
Besides I disabled the portal page, so the link to the rss feed isn't there, and he would never go to rss.php or rssnews.php ...........
So I think there is something wrong with viewonline.php...

If you are on a page with the shoutbox included... remember that the shoutbox frame has a PAGE_ID too... so if shoutbox refresh, in Sessions table the ID of the shoutbox is inserted, and the users appears to be visiting the Shoutbox... this is not a bug!

Regarding the problem listed by AvrilBoi, do you have RSS news enabled on your index?

Plus... remember that sessions are updated each 300 seconds (if you haven't changed this value), so the locations of users may not be up to date.

Anyway there are still some strange things to be verified in viewonline... but not the ones you have posted here!

my index.php redirects to forum.php

It could also depend on some blocks you have on your portal... try to check!

These tests could be performed using two browser... so two sessions are created... try on a test server where only you have access.

I don't have any block in the forum. check: http://forum.daydreamed.net
