Hi, there, MG..
I have tested both Milky Way and Black Pearl and they are awesome styles. Great work !!!
I thought about making a request, though... :oops:

In my live phpbb 2.0.22 forum I'm using the Redsilver style

Would it be too much trouble to create something with similar colors?
There has already been a release of this style for phpbb3, (click here)
but I thing that your styles with rounded edges ang the ability to show-hide categories is unbeatable !!!

P.S. If you cannot create something like this, could you perhaps guide me on how -to try- to change Milky way or Black Pearl ?
(I hope I'm not offending you in any way by telling something like this..If I am, I'm terribly sorry... It's just that my users are used to this style and when migrating to phpbb3, if I use a different style I'll get many-many complaints..)
Plus, the phpbb3 release for my style is not very good-looking.. :oops:

Well, after writing my previous post, I attempted to "reconstruct" Milky way (I really love this style, although it does not have the colors that I want...And despite the fact that the rounded effects and javascript make it more difficult when applying mods which modify the index...)
So I started playing around with Photoshop and the stylesheet.. After about two hours I had a real nice result and infact close enough to what I wanted
I must admit that I'm going to need your help in a few things (there are some color I want to change and I can't be sure about the correct code in stylesheet)
Tomorrow I might post a screenshot here, so that you can ....evaluate my progress :mryellow:
(Now that I see MG Autumn, I believe it is really easier to modify than Milky way - if the final result of the modified Milky way is not good enough I'll try to be luckier with the Autumn style.. :wink: )

Ok, first question of -I hope- fery few questions..
How can I change the text color of the categories names? I mean these:
EDIT: I also need to know how to change the overall background of the page from #FFFFFF to #DED8C8.. (As you see the image, the space between the categories) I believe I need nothing else
EDIT2: Forget about the striked text - I found out how to do it..
The 1st question is one thing I need to find, and I'm attaching untitled-2 ... I need to change the color of the few pixels below the cat table...

Table bottom is composed by 3 images:

If you like it, too, I could do that (I'll attach a zip with the style folder - it is actually a combination of MG Autumn imageset and Milky Way theme) :mryellow:
I mean that I've altered the milky way's images and stylesheet and used MG Autumn's buttons and icons..
I will put some screenshots later today. I need to check few more things... :up:

Thanks... :mryellow: It is actually my first attempt to "redo" a style...

OK, here are some screenshots...

It is letting me add only 3 attachments, so I'll douple post..

Later today (I hope) I will attach the zip file with the style and a title "changelog"

Ok, here is the zip file...
I have added myself in a few cfg files but you can edit that and give me any credit YOU want... :wink:
If you want you can alter anything you like if you believe that it is going to improve the style in anyway...
Since I could not find an appropriate name I temporarily named the style as Milky Way Red. You (MG) can change the name anyway you want (of course you can also delete the whole template folder and keep only theme and imageset) I only included templates folder for 2 reasons:
1. Easier to test it since you just install it..
2. I altered overall_header.html a bit (see Milky_Way_Red.txt inside zip archive for details)

Disclaimer : I'm not a Photoshop expert (far from it), nor a css expert.
all changes have made to suit my needs, but since I'm not a pro mistakes may have been made... :oops:

Regarding images to be uploaded on this site, please note that there is an Image Upload button while posting which allows you to manage images in a more efficient way, because images are automatically thumbnailed and you don't have any limit of images per post. :wink:

My initial thought was to create a style for phpbb3 similar to the one I'm using in my live phpbb2 forum right now, so that my users won't complain after the migration. I was not planning on releasing it... So my plan was that it could only be released as a "plugin" for your Milky way style. (Or you can release it as a new style if you want...) After all I don't have the knowledge to support a style release myself.. :wink:
