Icy Phoenix

Hi

I have just installed your latest frozen phoenix however when i try to change the site
title a different colour it keeps going back to a default colour

any idease please

I would not give up so easilly if I was you, especially on something as simple as this.

-maybe you can provide a link for us so we can take a look.
-maybe you can give more info on what exactly you have modified (stylesheet? class? or whatever else you tried to modify)

and just to make sure you are posting in the right section of the forum ... do you use an IcyPhoenix or phpbb based board?

Tks for your reply I have been trying to find out how I get the layout as this forum is then it was difficult to go through all of the files to find the answer hours spent.

So i changed the forum I have in colour the colour prgram you have and my title was white and wanted to change however I really want the layout like this forum not like mine.

I have only just set the board up do not know alot however trying. so if you know how to put frozen pheonix on as this layout would be good?

i m still unshure on what you are using ... a link would be nice but if you look bottom left of your board ...does it say "Powered by Icy Phoenix" or "Powered by phpBB"?

about the look of this forum .. maybe you should look at the styles database for icy or for phpbb (depending on what you ve installed)

Sorry to be a little scatty however what i am looking for is the frozen pheonix or icy pheonix the layout with the detail at the side bar the site I have got is the old style that I uploaded a few days ago.
It is powered by PHPBB not Icy.

The layout that is in your link is the style I want however when I upload it it always comes out with the layout I have now?

So I gave yp to upload again and tried to stick with this one however not all the mods work or can be seen like OFT Gallery.

If I have to strat again to get it I tried to find how to do it and use the coloriseit tool to get the correct colour.

Thanks for the link this clears some things up :mryellow:

There's probably a few things you should now before you can make up your mind on what you want...

First of all this site here (icyphoenix.com) is based on IcyPhoenix and the one in my sig is based on phpbb3

- Icyphoenix comes with alot of extra features build in and is based on phpbb2

- Phpbb3 needs to be modified to get all those extras (like in example a portal page), these modifications can be found in many places but phpbb.com is one of them

If you will stick with phpbb3 i will move your posts to the right section of the forum for you, please let me know

This is just what i m trying to make you see Vanessa.

phpbb does not come pre-modified, getting a portal page, a sidebar, etc etc means you have to modify alot, wich will take a lot of effort i 'm affraid

only icyphoenix boards come with all that build-in in those styles
