1. Why would I allow users upload pictures, that are already uploaded somewhere else and are potentially copyrighted, on my own server? As server owner, that could only cause you trouble.
   
2. That should be optionally. I wouldn't want users to be able to user the pictures of any other user as avatar.
   
3. Why don't you use photobucket if it has what you need? And by enabling "Hotlinking" you can already link to any picture. Creating your own HTML shouldn't be too difficult.
   
4. What du you mean "work with"? Do you mean a module for newest pics or something?
