Even though Private message Archiving is enabled and limits are set for Inbox and out box as well as save box.
Members are able to send and recieve PM's beyond the quota they are assigned. Can someone help me in directing me.
My board is based on XS 58B.
Secondly,
I want to archive a sub forum but I am unable to. I can only archive individual threads but not a sub forum.
I sincerely appreciate if anyone can help me.
THanks

If I'm not wrong the oldest PM are automatically deleted to make rooms for the new ones...
What do you mean by ARCHIVE?

hmmm...Well it is something similar to trash bin.
Instead of deleting the threads totally from database these are placed in tashbin.
Therse threads won't be visible for regular member but Admins and Mods.

The trash bin feature should allow you to select all topics and place them into the bin... isn't it working correctly for you?
Subject: Re: Private Messages Quota Issues..Archiving PM's And Sub Fo
It is working Mighty, But it is only working if they are individual threads...
But If I want to do the whole section I don't have an option for that.
For now I am trashing all the threads in that section/subforum and deleting that section/subforum
My main concern for now is PM's....I am seeing my InBox is 127%.
My PM Quota limits are enabled and I have done all I can to archive the PM's but it is just not happenning for some reason.
Many Thanks Mighty for your timely response.

If you go to moderation panel you'll be able to select all the topics at once, and then move all of them to the trash bin with one click.
Regarding PM's I have to check... are you sure to have upgraded your board to 058b?
If I remember well I should have solved this in the past...

As of my knowledge I am on top of all the upgrades...Including acronym patches that are currently present in Patches thread.
But I will do the research again and let you know if I missed anything which I should have caught up with.
I have taken the XS code around November first or second week from your site.
