Hi guys, first say hello to everybody, this is my first post here.

I receive a error while install new version, full with a new db

This is the error that return to me

"The used table type doesn't support FULLTEXT indexes "

I install it in local, use Mysql 4.1.14 and phpMyAdmin 2.6.3-pl1

I must create db with a particular colection? About 0.49 never had this problem.....

Than....i try to fix add "Type = Myisam" to the correspond table for the fullindexes.....

Maybe can be ok now....only do not finish the install correcltly (white pages is the end of the install)

Sometimes happened when installed 0.49 also, but retried 1 or 2 times (after delete the table) and finish ok.....

Now i tried many times but noting to do, maybe i must diveded the instal in more step...... i will try do do so, but i would like know if the addon (type=MyisaM) could be ok ?

And this problem (the install ko and finish with white page) happend to somebody to other ? if yes know why happened and what must do to fix it ?

The problem was there, misse type Isam for the table, the other type not support fulltext index :wink:

Can i ask why you take way type myisam in the sql-schema for every table from o.49 ver. that it had ?

I check the files about 0.49 and the schema had type= MyIsam

It's no better than innodb ?

I think for this i have problem during install, the process with innodb results too slow and the process go in timeout, for this i needed to do install process in 2 step, but this can be only a problem of my pc :nurse:

Yes, in table "(prefixtable)_pa_comments"

row 1233 miss Type=Myisam; i fix addon it.

file mysql_schema.sql in /install/schemas

P.S. the problem to install in local that i need more than 1 step is only for my PC (maybe..), on line everithing go well

I am experiencing the same problem. But I miss the point of how you fixed this problem. So please, please, post a fix online.

BTW I am using the latest version which is 059 at this time.

there are two ways before installation
in my.ini - default storage engine MyISAM [in server]
or in mysql_schema.sql after every table add ENGINE=MyISAM

In Attach you can found the mysql_schema.sql that i used for install, included the modify to line 1233

Substitute overwriting the same file in installschemas

You must rename *.ace in *.sql, sorry but this extension in not permitted to attach (it's right!!)
