Hello. My webpage is Elitemoviles.net and my server is sotem.es

My cuestion is the next one: I had intalled phpBB XS and I upgrated to ICY. Now I cannot put news in the home. I want to writte anypost in forum and can to see in the Home so my user can comment it. for example, "Icy Phoenix Ratings And Ranks PSD" as you have in icyphoenix.com

In NEWs FIELD I have PRIVATE. I change to MOD and I haven´t got any change. I cannot create news in home, yet.

Zuker, hablas español, no? fui a 'Administrar Foro' y 'Lista de Permisos' pero con los cambios no conseguí nada. También saqué bloques pero nada. Con el XS tenia varias noticias y al actualizar las perdí.
No entendí muy bien tu ingles. Dices 'asing', eso es 'asking'? y 'for ex' es 'for example'? no estoy muy ducho en el argot inglés, jejeje, sorry.
Sé que es un foro ingles, asi que hablaré en ingles o en los dos idiomas si lo veo muy complicado.

PD: Será algo de bloques? estube mirando pero no encontré, aunque eso no quiere decir que no lo sea.

News Admin > Categories

add something and with image


Then go to your POST, under the post title/description there should be a dropdown news box.

Pick your categorie and it should show on home. :mrgreen: All I thinking is that Xs to IP reset the topic news.

CMS admin at footer click
go to your block (3 column)

Find News block ,enable

If its not in the list, add it. and enable, no CACHE :loveit:

Eureka!! that's my solution!! It seems that I cannot find the news block. XS hadn't it, didn't it?

Thanks very much. This problem is solved! I wish I haven´t got bigger problem, jejeje.

I found problems. The news can see in the home, but I cannot create it. I see the old news. The news option isn't in 'create post'. I have the Icy Phoenix 1.0.11.11 version.

You have to set up forum permissions and create categories in ACP

I'm admin and the permission is in MOD. I create a new category (I have other, too) but not solved.
