Icy Phoenix

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post feature requests (if it isn't, could a moderator please move to appropriate place)

As a way to encourage people to use my site more often I would like them to use the messaging facilites (ie, PM and email)
There are already a couple of advantages to this over standard email, but one downside is the inability to contact multiple members.

How simple would it be to adjust privmsg.php so that it could send to multiple people (separated by maybe commas) and group (possibly noted by a star)
eg

To: user1, user2, *group, *group2

I reckon I could probably do this myself, but someone on here could probably do it much faster, and then it might get added to the package by default.
I believe many people would benefit from this

If I remember well multiple recipients have already been enabled into Icy Phoenix try to separate recipients with commas or semicolon and let me know.

Blimey, I wasn't aware of that... how silly of me.
As all my members are emailed whenever they are PM'ed, I plan to replace the "email" link with the "PM" link and call it "message"

When using AJAX features gaves me an error Luca

Without AJAX it is working fine?

I've try here to send a PM to: Mighty Gorgon, Zuker
And after clicking send i get

Sorry, but no such user exists. (and PM is not send)

I already have coded this feature in the past... I'm sure.

I need only to find the old files and reapply it to Icy Phoenix. :wink:

Thanks for the hint, I'll have a look at phpBB 3 as well... but I'm not sure on how I'll add it.
