In my forum, the word censor, don't work, i try several times, and nothing.

I have to change something?, or maybe is a bug?.

Check the preferences in your profile if the word censored are allowed or not.

Thanks Andrea, but there are an anyway to config the censor word for all users?

For example not allow censored words for all users.

There is a global switch in ACP... is it enabled?

No MG, i can't see the option in ACP.

Where is it? for enable.

I have the same problem.

I can't find the switch in the ACP

I've tested it on my test site and Word Censor is working fine.

Add the words you want to censor and make sure that in your profile the Censor is enabled.

the word censor work perfect, I'll never get tired of saying that Icy is great.
but you talk about a global switch on the ACP to force all users to use the word censor....I can't find that switch

I added it in the past but then removed when Bicet added it for each user... :roll:

Sorry, it was my fault... I cannot remember all the active switches... :mri:

u can run this sql

UPDATE phpbb_users SET user_allowswearywords='1',

And after that, it can be set to default that field to 1

Don't work that SQL Zuker, You konw why?

My mistake:P it must be an update, not an alter table

but after the SQL the users can change it again to zero

it's going to be implemented in the next version to force the users?

i found this field inside config table

'global_disable_censor'

try to run dis sql

UPDATE phpbb_config SET global_disable_censor='1'

UPDATE ip_config SET global_disable_censor='1'

don't work

I use this SQL

UPDATE ip_config SET `config_value` = '1' where `config_name`='global_disable_censor'

this SQL runs good but there is no change on the behavior of the word censor (only work when the user activates it)
