Icy Phoenix

Hi all,

Since yesterday I opened up my new forum for my members of my old phpbb forum.
A couple of members cant get on the forum, when they click the new forum link http://www.dogue-the-bordeaux.nl/forum
all they get is a white page with a error message saying:
Forbidden
You do not have permission to access this document.

Can anyone tell me what the problem is some see the forum ok no problem and some get this message??

Second problem the forum doesnt count new messages were it sais subjest and messages on the forum, what can I do about this??

I have checked today all chmod settings, and this is all ok.

About the forbidden, i can´t see that. i see your board correctly. i think the problem is that your server has done any maintenance and don´t wanted to shotdown the server.

The other you have about the messages, is caused because you don´t activate the message checkbox counter on the ACP>> forum management>>management>>edit>>(checkbox)"count messeges"
this isn´t literal.

I can surf your forum without any problem. The second one it's maybe a cookie problem. Inside the doc's forum there are a couple of topics for "how-to" put them fine

Thank you both for your answers, I think the forbidden thing is indeed something from the server, as some people who had this message could register now :mryellow:

As for the second problem, I checked the ACP/forum managment/managment and checkt every forum for the checkboxes but they were all checked.
Then I looked at the coockies and changed them as writen in the how to, but this also didn't work, I emptied my internet coockies aswell but so far It didn't work. :(

Also in statistics below the who is online section I have top posters enabled but the counting is also wrong in there.

I synchronise the forums every hour now to keep it up to date :(

Try

ACP->DB Maintenance->Database Maintenance->Synchronize user post counters

Try to clear the cache.
