Our website was finally scanned by Google bots, the problem is that the bot seems to read only the meta description, it doesn't index the page content and for this reason the site is never among the relevant results for the keywords used in the search.
I suppose there must be a way to allow the bots to scan and cache not only the meta description but also the content of the page.
Any help would be welcome.
Thanks !

Have you got activated the cache?
And the rewrite?
If the page has got the php´s html format, some search bots don´t index the pages, and go to the cache.

Search for that options in the ACP.
A clue for rewrite (I don´t know well how to do it):
In the server, board or icy phoenix sections.
How to activate cache:
go to cache management.
Delete all cache for all templetes.
Compile all cache for all templates.
Then searh for the option.

thank you novice programmer,
I activated the rewrite option (for guests and bots only) and recomplied the cache.
Now I guess I will have to wait until the bots scan the site again and see what happens.
Well either you are the only one who knows how to set up this, or no one here cares about SEO....

SEO doesn't depend only on urls.
Why phpBB.com for example doesn't use it?
Icy Phoenix has several methods to help bots to scan pages... and next version will have some more.
I hate URL Rewrite, it is included in Icy Phoenix only because some users thinks that their site will be better scanned.
I can say from my experience that URL Rewrite is almost useless with modern search engine bots.
