Hi,

I am running 1.1.7.22 Ip and have couple errors and need your helps.

1. How can I get rip of this error. it's really bug me.




2. I am using Vietnamese & English, everything is fine except Recent Topics block not reading right. i changed my language file to $lang['ENCODING'] = 'UTF-8';//iso-8859-1.

I think the second issue can be solved if you change both encodings to iso-8859-1

The first error is because of javascript. You should look for <script> tags in the header and see if it's written return outside a function.
Usually, a function looks like that:

If it's any return statement (return; or return true/false; or return var;) before the beginning of the function or after the end (after }), you should post the whole function here and we can see what's wrong.

Thank you KasLimon. in regard to my second issue: view different languange in Recent block. I only found it in Lang_main_settings.php and you metioned both. Where else go you change?

Hello, I'm sorry for the delay, I was on holidays until yesterday...

I tried to say that if you use both languages english and vietnamese you should change the encoding in files language/lang_english/lang_main_settings.php and in language/lang_vietnamese/lang_main_settings.php to iso-8859-1

hope everyone has a wonderful holidays and vacation. BTW, thank you so much for your respond, but I forgot to mention that I only have 1 language folder and installed Vietnamese language which I think it's a (mViet) mod which users are able to enable/disable Vietnamese in posting page only. Please let me know if you need more info.
