Hi all,
I have been having this "problem" since 0 A.C. I mean the begining of the times.I do not understand why, if the system indentifies someone like spammer, it changes automatically its registered email adress for
I do not know if this is a normal behavior but for me this is a problem, and I do not understand why this happens.
Is this configurable? could I disable this?
Thank you.
Spam Detection Changes User Email.

It is a CTracker feature, but I have changed it in IP 2.0, are you using the last version?

Anyway, why this happens? What kind of profit keeps changing users mail?
Yes, I am using 2.0 version, but I have 1000 users from last version with this problem. I think it stills happens, because the last user reported something similar has been registered short time ago, but I am not sure.Mighty Gorgon wrote: [View Post]

The rationale behind I think was to avoid spammers to get notified and to avoid other users contacting them.
Unfortunately you have no way to revert back old email addresses, but this feature has been removed in Icy Phoenix 2.0, so you don't have to fear anymore about this.

Right now, 83 users have this issue. I think I can consider active about 65% of them
The problem was that they were identified as spammers close to their registration (with few messages), so maybe all of them did not got back because of this, and if they have came back long time after, they can't recover their password's.
Now there is no solution.

Sorry, but I can't understand... when did this happen? Are you sure it happened by using Icy Phoenix 2.0? Did you disable all antispam features in ACP?

No no, this happened before the upgrade to 2.0. If you say this issue was removed I trust you, but those users with wrong mail still there.
