Hello MG and Round11!

Well, I have the same problem in my XS. When I disable all the options in Configuration > Posting is possible to see the images and I can control the size with the other option in ACP > General > Limit Image Width...

Always I clear all the caches when I change something... But if I try to activate thumnails in post, then is not working at all, but you still can see the image if you click on it.

Any idea!! :roll:

Nice to know I'm not crazy ;) I hope this gets resolved quickly.

Nobody is thinking you are crazy... :wink:

It's a problem of settings... both XS and your server.

Anyway, remember that some images are blocked by CTracker for Security reasons... and some other images are blocked by the script which generate the thumbnails for the same reason.

I'll have a further look on it.

What settings do you have in Limit Image Width? Did you try disabling it?

Subject: Re: IMG Bbcode - Having Issues Again.
I have the settings set to:

YES
NO
YES
500

Just tried disabling it, and that didn't do the trick. I'm still leaning towards something in PHP.INI.

Subject: Re: IMG Bbcode - Having Issues Again.
My LIW statements...

getimagesize() => YES
URL-aware fopen wrappers => YES
openSSL => NO

So the problem could be related to URL-aware fopen wrappers not available... :roll:

All others settings are the same.

Hi MG!

I have everything in YES in my LIW statements... and still the same. Also I have the same as you have in Configuration > Posting....

Then I don't know what to say... it could be a memory limit... :roll:

If you disable LIW and thubmnails you can see the images right?

Yes it works fine if those are disable. Sorry for the long delay.

Subject: Re: IMG Bbcode - Having Issues Again.
I also seem to not be able to attach images and have them resize. They just get attached as the full size image.

Subject: Re: IMG Bbcode - Having Issues Again.
I also thought it may have something to do with my version of php, but that's since been upgraded to the latest version. But, I guess this isn't going to get resolved.....seems like MG has moved on :(

Subject: Re: IMG Bbcode - Having Issues Again.
Update on this at all?

Subject: Re: IMG Bbcode - Having Issues Again.
Hmmm, SimpleMachines is looking better and better. I thought there would be a reply by now.

Well... I don't have problems in posting or viewing images in my forum, signatures or anywhere...

I have the following configuration:

LIW:
getimagesize() --> Available
URL-aware fopen --> Available
openSSL --> Available

Yes
Yes
Yes
500

Config / Posting:

GD2
No
Yes
No
Yes
Yes
75
500

I mean... I have almost no error in viewing or attaching images, but... Always a but... When I watch at the errors.log of my server, I have many errors like these:

I don't know why

Subject: Re: IMG Bbcode - Having Issues Again.
Not sure either. Where did you get that log file?

I just don't get it. :cry:

You should talk to your hosting, and they'll tell you how could you access to your errors.log

Try to use this one:

And let us know what happens!

Well it works when you click on the image, just like I've been experiencing. But, this shows up in my log files (I found it!)

I'm sure that HAS to have something to do with it.

Yes... I'm sure it has something to do with... But I don't know why :(

Let's see if anyone of the coders have any idea!
