Anyone know what might be causing this? I'm thinking about just backing up the db, and doing a clean install...should I try that?

It's definitely something to do with the " character. It shows the after every ". Seems like a PHP thing. I tried general html, ya know, simple <br>'s, and it shows up fine. The minute a " is there, that's when everything screws up. 
I have a problem like yours.
Can you please try to put a " character (what's the english for that damn thing?  ) and then try to change the style of your site and see if you got a CTracker error?

Well, I got error wherever I put... in the header and banners page. In any of the text field it doesn't matter, I got always error.
(I think is something related to the config table)

I have hard coded the script in view_topic.tpl as temp solution...
until mighty can come up with a real one

I can try to escape quotes... in the meantime can you try to remove CTracker CONFIG check and try again?

i got today the same problem... but i found it at least!
ACP > Configuration > Site
Active the option for raffigure HTML on your site! and then go header&Banner and insert:
<html><center>YOURGOOGLECODE</center></html>
greets!

<html><center>YOURGOOGLECODE</center></html>
greets!
In my opinion this is a quite bad workaround... it is not a good thing to allow html in the whole site. Maybe this thing should be fixed...

I've also got the same problem, and the solution from sharknos doesn't work in my forum. The only thing I know that works is write the code BUT without the colour information (you can see it working on http://astronomipedia.quae.net/test/foro/index.php).
But I don't understand how can the official Icy Phoenix forum show the banners correctly. It's really strange. And MG says to deactivate CTracker, but people say it doesn't work. It's really, really strange.
What do you do to show it?
