Well, I think that my post has been mis-understood. I were not talking about a server swich, but to get root at the SSH terminal of his VPS/dedicated server and make the required changes, but I think it is too much for ancraz to handle...

what i thought was since i am not able to complete the upgrade in my server i thought i will do the upgrade in a different server and after completing the upgrade and the script is  working properly . i will move it to my server   thus avoiding this server error

does any one won a server who has a this feature to upgrade the phpbb2 to ice i will try and pay for that server as much as i can or can some post the manual upgrade steps like what are the files that needs to be edited and what are sql file that needs to be executed

after finding a cms i like and now i cant use breaks my heart . hope i find a solution    but till now you guys provided some good support

If a clean install works fine, then it's not an hosting related issue... you should pay someone to upgrade that DB for you instead.

so this a DB issue is there a manual update available i am asking this since i don't have any money    and dont want to trouble spydie any more since has helped me a lot already

Is this problem caused by DB . Is something wrong with DB. all i have 3$ so i think any one will do it for that amount    .Please tell me how to fix this issue or give the instruction and i will do the update manually than running upgrade phpbb2 script

No chance to get it working. the update PhpBB2 to IP1.3 is´nt completed like it should.

The post table remains empty, and some other tables aswell.
