Hi to everyone, we have 2registered domains for our forum: .net+.eu
the second one hosts our support area and a cloned version of principal forum hosted on .net
I weekly back the whole db up and then upload it to the second domain .eu but is there a way to get this process shorten? wich tables do I really need to back up in order to save posts and PM? So I could backup db monthly... Is this process possible? What could I loose with this kind of weekly backup? Thank you in advance

The best way to do it is using mysqldumper.

You can create a backup in gzip and restore it with few click.

You need then only to make some changes to your config table... but you can create a quick SQL script of it and import it after the restore.

You can find mysqldumper around the web, it is free.
