Hi,

In my forum,if i go: ACP/Junior Admin/Kangura/Edit User Details ....my password appears as ******.  If I follow this process and attempt to edit the User Details of any of my members, their details appear but are quickly and without my intervention substituted for my own eg. my nickname replaces theirs and my password appears as ******.  

If I attempt to make any change, the following message appears:

Would you like to have Password Manager change the stored password for Kangura?
Yes         No

At this point I hit the back button of my browser in a mad panic!!

I would greatly appreciate discovering what magic powers have been bestowed upon me since upgrading to 058 because this didn't happen before

It's related to your browser. Disable automatic form filling.

Yep...after my Firefox updated I noticed the issue.

When I read this http://www.phpBBXS.eu/viewtopic.php?t=514&highlight= I thought it might be related to the problem I described here.

Since I got firefox 2, it seems to have disappeared because the form doesn't fill in with my own details any more...

I've noticed that you are really "forward looking" regarding OS and browsers...

Just a couple of days ago I've noticed that you were using Longhorn (maybe Vista Beta) and IE 7...

Now you are using FF 2...

Do you like installing new OS or do you have a PC shop?

I use Firefox & IEX6 on XP and IX7 on Vista, but on the same pc which has 3 partitions...the third one is for 'stuff'/documents....yea yea i'm off da topic now

Vista is very pretty but Firefox with XP is my favourite - it always seems to flow quickly.

Unfortunately I couldn't use my forum correctly today with Vista (it was returning wierd & unheard of errors), but maybe that's because I'm reduced to dialup speed now that I've exceeded my ISP's monthly download limit   :girl_mad:  :girl_cry2:  :girl_cry:

I used to have several booting partition too in the past... but now I have so few free time...

I've just formatted my PC last week, and now I'm running two Win XP Pro...
