Post Please Help With Mail!

I was running a phpbb board and had no problems with sending mail, after I upgraded to phpBBXS mail no longer works. I don't get any errors and I have tried swapping out smtp.php files as per another post here. That didn't work. It says that the mail is being sent but none of my test messages are being sent out. All of my smtp settings are the same as when I was running phpbb. I am going through my ISP's mail server. Any help I can get would be most appreciated.

Please disregard this post I fixed the problem.

All I did was enable SMTP in the configuration file and set it to my localhost address. (127.0.0.1) I have php.ini set SMTP set to the same address.  I am running my own out going mail server.
