I was upgrading my IP site like you say in the news... but now when I try to enter to my web.. www.guerrerosdelkaos.es

It's all in white!!!!

SO... TO clen all I want you to help me to do one thing...

I want to Install from 0 the New IP, but I want to conserve the users... and the posts....

I have backup of all. Can you show me how Can I do it plz!!!

I have seen something but it doesn't rule....

I want to know how Can I install a new IP, but continue having the same people registered, the same posts....etc...

As zuker said there are a few articles about blank pages, and you'll get the problem fixd in a few min.

But; if you want to install IP from scatch then backup your database from phpMyAdmin, install ICY the reload you database accordingly.

Do I have to keep the def_tree/words/themes????

No just use the new ones.

Okey I have deleted all and Created a new Ip site =D

But I want to rewrite ONLY the users and the posts.. If I upload all the old Db it makes errors...

How Can I do it???

from the old site upgrade the database with the script provided, then import the tables you need

Adn wich are the user tbales, post tables and news tables.... and how can I upgrade only them with the phpmyadmin...

With phpMyAdmin is a long work, you'd better use the provided script.


But be careful, some tables work together. For example post and users, PM and users, forums... and so on. First ask here to someone that can help you choose which table you can extract singularly without compromising forum's usability

Then you can:


1. BACKUP

2. Create the new forum on another location (virtual host, database, folder...)

3. on the old forum, launche the update script.

4. Export the tables you want (singularly, with phpmyadmin) from the updated database and then import them overwriting the new forum's database. All this being careful of what previously said about compatibility and functioning.

It is not so easy do what you want to do... it is easiest to upgrade the old site and then empty all the forums and resync the db.
