Icy Phoenix

If the name of a photo file image has a "space" between letters, this "space" is changed for a "%20" and this image is not showed in the forum.


If the image is without space between letters, this image is showed in the forum.


This problem cause that the funtion "image_thumbnail.php" not work well and show a "No thumbnail" in topics.

I know this problem is due to a some "special character" such a +,-,%.....

How could i resolve this problem?

I had to add some security checks to the name of the files being posted, so some special chars are not parsed to prevent wrong image detections... :roll:

I'll try to check if an alternate way is possible to allow at least spaces.

This happens in IP Beta 1.0.99 too MG!

Can you release an update? I'm not sure, it doens't work on my site with those special character like spacing it turns into a %20 and all that.

I have the same problem with Icy 1.0.11.11, but only images that are stored on my site produce no thumbnail. Images linked from other sites shows up correctly? Some security thing?

My problem was .htaccess related. While I was testing Icy and setup, my web was password protected, and i was getting "no thumbnail" problem (while image itself, when clicked on thumb, was showed correctly). Now that password is removed, thumbs are shown correctly. BTW, adress is www.omarska.net.

I have the same problem with no thumnails in post..

Most of them are uploaded with the icy upload image, but on the uploaded images i can see the little thumbnail, but if i click on the image i get an 500 error... and in the posts no image is shown.

Remove all htaccess from that folder and parent ones.

Then try again.
