I noticed that no matter if the personal galleries permissions for groups are already set,  when a user creates his own gallery, the permissions are not replicated to the existing groups and therefore the new created gallery is out of permissions until I to go to the ACP and only press the OK button in the permission screen to replicate the permissions.  I have to do this each time a user creates his own gallery.

Is this suppose to work this way?

I think permissions are not inherited by newly created categories.
