I noticed that everytime I upload an image when posting I see " NO thumbnail" insted of the pic.

This only happens if the image is uploaded on my server, but it doesn't happen if I use a hosting site.

Any ideas why?

Can I have a link to one of these image please?

Can you try to load it directly in the browser?

If you have an error, you may try to remove .htaccess if it is there.

if I clik on the thumbnail it works fine. it just doesn't show like it should.

Aplied the patch from zuker still no improvement!

Are you talking about uploading an image as you post in the forum or using the album bbcode in post to show image?

You have chmod 777  the files/thumbs folder and have GD Version set in ACP>>Configuration>>Posting --- Images In Posting ?

I was having same problem, and it was .htaccess thing, as MG said few posts above. Try removing .htaccess completely, see if it works, and then put it back line per line, to determine what extactly is causing problem.

Now I have even more surprising news...

last night I created a new folder named it "thumbs" -> CHMOD 777 and tried it again but no luck with or without the .htaccess file.

I can see in the folder NO images are added at all, called my host to make sure the permissions where right.

Today I checked again and the thumbs folder is full of thumbnails, they all start with mid_thumb_posted_00.  Is there an automated scrip somewhere integrated into icy that I don't know. I know for a fact that no images were uploaded using this feture so how did the folder get full I don't know. As I was writing this post I created another folder called *thumbs* and the same thing happened again.

Can anyone help me figure this thing out.

I revised one picture uploaded on my server, and permisions are only 600.
Put 775 and ok. Now rules.
I think it maybe a bug?

Are you sure have GD installed? Are you sure you have removed htaccess from files folder as well?

Well I think they are deleted, but im not sure, can you tell me please, from wich folders may i delete those .htacces????
