I changet from hosting but when I dit put my backup into teh new server I get this on my site

Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

what can I do about this

maybe you changed domain name or path to the script or not set database user's password

all these you can change/edit in phpmyadmin

use search function - search [ex. 'server']

stay in phpmyadmin
click your database
then do search [keyword - server path]

now you'll find server name and script path

or open

preffix_config table and manually search server name and sript path

then click edit and change to right settings

oke I found it

changed servername  the www.puredesigz.nl into www.zebravinken-gouldamadinesite.nl
and scriptpath its a /

but nothing changed yet

do you set right user and password to connect to database[privileges] ?

you can find it in config.php

I have now my forum on place

But I have now a nother problem that there is nothing on my forum now.   

and when I login yo to Bp than I come back in the BP from puredesignz.nl???????

Recompile the cache.

How to:

Go clicking in each page and the relative route is well, but have to change the domain name on each page you load untill  you get to the ACP

I changed everything

but theire is now result

first I get everything dan i go to my ACP sow I wanted to open the forum en everything has been gone again

try this

take these three files from install/contrib/clean/includes/

def_themes.php
def_tree.php
def_words.php


and replace with yours

oke I have now everything back but there is one thing that I cant Change

that is that the site stay,s out of order end try it later.
I went to my ACP but there stand it on that the forum is online?
Must I change somthing in my db
