Users Become Inactive For Some Reason

Post Users Become Inactive For Some Reason 
 
Hi,

I have all my preferences set so a user does not have to activate their account through email. It becomes active as soon as they register, but for some reason, about 2-5 out of 40+ registrations I have everyday, the 2-5 people are marked as inactive. how can i fix this? thanks
