hi people... i've searched for some info on this topic but haven't found much useful info except i've found out that it is posslible and that it requires a little php/mysql and .htaccess editing.

i need this:

for every registered user i need automatically generated subdomain that redirects to user's profile.php (i've edited profile.php to look something like userpage + small gallery)

what needs to be done? can someone help me?

You will have to create a mod that changes the records of your domain to add a CNAME record with the user´s name.

I won´t do that... I think you should do a mod to create a folder with the username value as the folder name. But that could result in a security issue.
