When I upgrade my forum from XS2 to IP my database doesn't convert.  Is it supposed to?  The installation works fine otherwise.

If I change the default prefix from IP_ to PHPBB_ in the installation, it tells me that the database already exists, and it won't continue.  If I leave IP_ as the prefix, it installs fine but it creates all new (empty) fields in my database with the IP_ prefix.  

So my question is:  Is it supposed to update the old XS2 database?  If not, is there a way to import the old database into the new IP forum?
