Re: I've A Problem With Icy Phoenix
Sorry but I don't understand... you have a limit for a single file to be under 1MB? If this is the case, unzip Icy Phoenix on your pc and then upload the single files.
Regarding DB, Icy Phoenix has its own setup procedure, you just need your access data and run install/install.php

Re: I've A Problem With Icy Phoenix
I have just installed all the icy phoenix files. When the installation process finished it asked me for deleting two folders from my database: "Install" and "Contrib". I deleted this, and when I try to go to my forum index page it gave me an error, but now when i try to acces to the index page i only see a white page, but some minutes ago it said "Fatal error".
What is happening? have i lost all my forum information? and... ¿how can i do to solve it? please help.
Thank U. Greetings!!
I edit: the error back...
Fatal error: Call to undefined method sql_db::clear_cache() in /home/webcindario/m/u/mundosims/phpBB2/includes/functions_mods_settings.php on line 49

Re: I've A Problem With Icy Phoenix
Re-Upload the install folder with all of the contents *.*, and then try accessing your forum. You should then get an error message asking you to delete the install and contrib folder.
Just rename the install folder for the time being.

No! Confusing isn't it?
This thread is in the wrong forum, and why the phpBB3 MODS haven't moved it - I have no idea.

Phpbb2 and phpbb3 have diferent acritecture and things designed for one of them will not work for the other.
jpavly, I do not know it this will solve your problem, but I must ask you, in order not to make a mess in icyphoenix.com, to post your questions in another tread at the correct section (as this one has been created for Phpbb3 templates and modifications support).

Re: I've A Problem With Icy Phoenix
Now, I've other problem. it doesn´t send the activation mail. Somebody who wanted to register on my forum asked me because the activation mail didn't arrive at his InBox. So, I try to create a new account to test this, and I had the same problem, my forum doesn't send the activation mail.

It's not my problem
I wasn't trying to hijack the thread, my question was written because I though that maybe there is a problem while trying to install Icy Phoenix to phpBB3.

You should check your smtp settings
It's in Administrator Control Panel, General, Email Settings, SMTP Settings

You are right but this topic drifted away from the original request... anyway I have moved it to avoid confusions.

Try to ask your host or try to enable SMTP sending in ACP.
