hi, I wanted to ask whether to do to give the choice to the consumers whether to select only the day and the month of the birthday or additionally also the year.
or better, simply to select day and month in this space or to also add the year:

because if I put only day and month it tells me that the format of the date is not valid.
what can i do?

It is not possible doing that without modifying the core code.

The problem is that you have also to modify all the pages which contain birthdays to reflect this change... and it is not so easy if you are not confident with PHP.

Unfortunately I have no time for such a modification.

Maybe someone else is interested and will help.

As MG suggested, It's a lot of work to make a modification like that, even if it appears a simple thing to do. ;)

I doubt that anyone will pick it up and do the MOD, so don't be disappointed if they don't - Because it really is a lot of work, for something that would not be popular anyway. 8)
