Post How To Use ADV Download Mod? 
 
When in the ACP, I can see options for ADV Downloads, which seems to be another download mod than the default. Is there any way to enable this? I'm sorry if this has been answered before, if so can you please direct me to it? I've tried searching, but I wasn't able to find anything about it.

Ok the Mod is not linked in the mainmenu of the CMS i think try yourdomain.com/downloads.php then you see the downloademod

There are to downloads mods integrated and fully fuctional.

/dload.php
/downloads.php

Look at both and feel free to change the comment sclashes in /includes/constants.php to use the one you want.
