Hi

I have been uploading images into post using the upload image bbcode addon... great mod...

But I have spent ages trying to get the images to resize correctly in the posts...

How exactly do these two mods work...do I need both of them turned on or does one need to be on while the other off...

This is what I have done

I uploaded a post with 10 images in it and found that they were too small to be seen clearly after they were resized... I wnt to the ACP and found the images in post section under configuration/icy phoenix...

this is my current set up

 

 ihit submit and nothng changed in the post I then hit edit and submit in the post to change the database but that did nothing...

I then went to limit image width in the ACP and set it up like this

 

I hit submit went pack to the post nothing had changed clicked on edit post submit.. nothing changed ....

I then cleared styles cache limit image width cache and browser cache... still no change then again hit edit and submit ... no change...

I then turned off images in post and then edit and submit and my images resized to 400 I then turned back on images in post...

I am totally missing something or have set something up wrong so if anyone could point me to the write direction I would be very grateful..

ok so I found the clear thumbnail cache and then resubmitting the post the images are as I want them...

sorry for wasting any ones time who read this...

uhmm i did everything you said but nothing but my URL-aware fopen wrappers is not avalible so I have no access to my php.ini, what can I do?

and i talked to my hosting server and they say they can not avalible that option, and I installed the gallery2 and the thumb works fine

have no idea what you are talking about...

my post is about resizing images in forum posts.. what exactly are you talking about....?

each time when I am putting a image I cant see the THUMBNAIL it just shows a imagen saying NO THUMBNAIL

have you chmoded the correct folders...?

yes I check them and they are all fine

It appears that you haven't learned anything even though you apologised for doing similar before.
