hello

i am having a problem

i edited my topic perpage and post perpage option but its not working :s

moreover it looks like some of my old topics are vanishing from the forum! my users have posted a lot of topics (nearly 100 in one section) but many of them are missing

i guess it shud show pages by now since there are so many topics but its not showing any more pages its jst showing only one page! but its ok in the post section. there its showing pages but not in topic!

i dont know whats the problem and how can i fix it. can anyone help?????

back up your database, disable the board, go to the ACP >> db maintenance, synchronize forums an topic and hope that this solve the problem

Make maintenance on users, groups, votes, polls, treads, forums and then go to admin categories and sincronize all of them.

i did everything!!!
its still not helping!! wth is going onnn!!! :shock:

i've change the topic per page and post per page again! its still not helping! i made 15 posts/topics per page but there are like 40 topics in one page and theres no other page! just that one! but i have more han 40 topics m sure of it! shudnt it make another page and show them?!

Try to disable the SQL cache, defined in constants.php

If nothing else works try this.

ACP > site > check that topics and posts limits are correct > submit the page.

cant find any option which says topic and post limit

You will have to search for a define fuction that makes cache SQL queries. It is very descicriptive. The line after it is define "false". Comment the active and decomment the inactive one. File: includes/constants.php

Sorry I cannot provide you exacly the line you have to seacrh for, I am not on the computer I have Icy installed at, I am at my laptop. :(

well bro can u give me the exact line and where do i find it and what do i change it to when u are on that pc where Icy is installed? because honestly speaking i didnt get a thing there :oops:

there u go. that section has more than 70 topics but it doesnt show all of them neither does it show any page
