never had this problem before

there is no other programs running on the data base

Warning: mysql_error(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/xxxxx/public_html/photohosting_forum/includes/db/mysql4.php on line 683

Warning: mysql_errno(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/xxxxx/public_html/photohosting_forum/includes/db/mysql4.php on line 684

That is strictly a server problem. They allocate too many connections for their resources and you're stuck with it. :(

It usually doesn't happen for a long period - But annoying just the same. It's also between you and your host to resolve it. 8)

The one thing you can try is Clear all IP Caches to remove any surplus SQL. ;)
