Post Site Speed

Hi all im hoping someone can help.

The site im admin on www.talkingcarp.com is dieing a death due to the speed of the site.  It is painfully slow and i cant see why or find a way of speeding it up.  The main Admin/webmaster seems to have disappeared into yonder and im really at a loss.  Its a shame as it has been a great site with some great members.  Any help or any info you need to be able to help please ask.

Please bear with me as i am not too offay with things.

You removed the:

"Powered by Icy Phoenix based on phpBB" and "Design by Mighty Gorgon" from the footer of your Icy Phoenix website, which is seen in Limun's picture posted up above.

Until you properly change the footer to reflect the correct lines, you [b]will not[/b get an ounce of support here.

Have a good day and good luck fixing your problem.

Ok thank you for your help explaining that.

Unfortunately i didnt do that it was the person who has done the offski.  Is there anyway i can change that back to how it is meant to be as i have had a look in the admin panel and cant see anywhere to do it as if it is wrong it should be changed i agree.

If no one can help then i accept that but as explained i dont have a clue how to or can see where to make that change.

All the best.

You are seeking help on a site you have no FTP access to?  If you don't have FTP access, you'll need to contact your hosting provider and ask for your FTP access.  You might as well ask them about cPanel login information.  This is all assuming you are the account holder.

Until the footer is replaced with the edits Limun posted above, you will not receive support from us on this website.

Sorry.
