I'm having a problem downloading files I'm uploading to the site.  The screenshots work, the files are uploading file and are physically present in the 'pafiledb/uploads/'.

Screenshots display fine... but when I go to download the file I'm told the file doesn't exist.  Under the ACP i'm told "Access to this address is forbidden."  The file path is valid... it just must be a config issues... maybe with .htaccess?

Anyone have any ideas or encounter this problem before?

Ok..  So after deleting the .htaccess from my uploads directory I am able to download the file via the pafiledb edit screen as a direct link but when I try to download it from the user interface (indirect) it says the file doesn't exist.

Any ideas?
