Is it possible to format the board emails as if you were sending mail from say Outlook or like the forum posts are formatted?
Spacing, carriage returns, font colors, etc...
I would really like to be able to send out board emails that look more ledge-able and professional rather then a running sentance.
This would make for a better read and I would probably get more responses from my board emails.

If this is possible please tell me how?

Yes, you should use HTML...

Write your email in Dreamweaver or similar and then paste the code in the form.

MG thanks for the reply, but that is not exactly what I was looking for.
I have a Mod called "Referral Plus 1.4.0" installed that send emails but they come out looking more like bunched up words and the links that they contain don't work unless I copy and paste.
They aren't clickable like they are supposed to be. I need to fix this.
Even if it looks like the rest of the forum mail that would be fine. I can't use HTML like you said because each user sends out the mail.

Mmmm... I should take a look at the code which generate the email output... I have no time right now, try to take a look yourself, then I can try to help you to solve this issue if you post here that code.

MG, Could you please take a look at the MOD that I attached. I wouldn't be surprised if it is the mod amd has nothing to do with phpBB XS it's self. This is a really good mod. Too bad it isn't part of the original phpBB XS install.

This mod adds a full featured referral system to your board. If your board has the cash mod installed then your members can earn forum points/cash for posting in your forums or for referring new members. Admins can also block members from sending referrals by limiting how many posts they must put up before they can start referring new members. Admins also control how many points a member gets for their posts and referrals.

I had a quick mod overlook.

I think you should modify these email tpl to get HTML in your emails.

• rp_clean_email.tpl
  
• rp_invite_email.tpl

After you have modified them, then you have to put these files in the html folder of your email subfolder in lang folder...

language/lang_english/email/html/*.*

Try to have a look at the other tpl in that folder for guessing what you have to do.
