Post New And Renamed Dynamic Menu Links Not Appearing/updating

Hello,

When  I add a new link to the dynamic menu it doesn't show up in the menu itself. Also when I change the Link Name and choose the - no lang var (use specified name) - for the language var for both and it doesn't show the new link or the name change. I choose so all can see it.

Also, is there a way to choose what icon is used for downloads depending on file type?

Thanks for the help!
Nicole

P.S. I am using the latest version and it is located at http://www.half-halt.net/forum . It is a new install.

I  deactivated the Nav Menu and added the block for the Dynamic Menu. It only shows the change on the forum page!

yes , because nav menu in portal is default one ...u cant just deactivate it (you can remove him only in overall_header.tpl)

Actually, you don't have to edit any files to use a dynamic menu.  You only have to edit a file if you use the index [Site Map] block.

That is why I love the dyn menu [Dynamic Menu] block.
