Hi guys i wonder if anyone can help me?

How do i change the date/time in the chat box?

My time/date is 05/01/2009 - 15.53 but if i send a message in the chat box it comes up as this 2009/01/05 - 08.53.00 ???

A 7 hour time difference, can this be changed?

try to go in your profile and set your time zone ..i think it will help

Many thanx for the quick reply. But that part of the site is working fine ie if i make a post in the forum my date and time are correct.

Its just the chat box that seems to be set on US/Canada time and im from the UK

This has been an ongoing problem since I started using Icy Phoenix.  I never found a solution to setting the time correctly in the Ajax Shoutbox, so I switched to the old shoutbox instead.

Thanks for your reply. It a shame we cant get it to work. Today i looked at mysql and took the time stamp from a test post and converted it and it was the correct time and date so i guess its a break down of code some where. I have been looking at all the ajax files but still no joy, if i do ever fix it i will post back what i did.
