After upgrade to 1.2.0.27, a Welcome private message (to me) is reproducing like rabbits. Every time I click any link or refresh the page the new message count increases by  1 to 4 new messages. Even after deleting them all I immediately  get another... refresh the page and the count is now 5 ......  

Any clues ?

I tried re-updating again, and again again .... same results.
Went into my preferences and set them not to received PMs and it appeared to stop. Then I changed the settings back to original, crossed my fingers, and was really glad when they didn't reappear.

So now I log in under a different user and the same thing happens, more friggin PMs than you can shake a stick at.  

Well I did figure out one thing ..... these PM's are birthday greetings not the welcome message.

I still haven't figured out why this is happening. Can someone explain the meaning of these numbers in the database.(attached screenshot)
