 Error When Editing Or Creating New Blocks
I've tried editing and creating blocks in IP version 1.2.0.27, and no matter what I do, I get the this message:

Could not insert data into blocks table
DEBUG MODE
SQL Error : 1054 Unknown column 'border' in 'field list'
UPDATE ip_cms_blocks SET title = 'Welcome', bposition = 'c', active = '1', type = '0', content = ' Welcome To Icy Phoenix (HTML Block Demo)
To disable, delete or edit this block you should access to CMS section (cms.php), select the proper layout (in this case should be 3 Columns) and then edit the block.

I know it is an old topic, but I have exactly the same problem with 1.2.0.27c version.
I cannot add or edit any blocks. 
If anybody knows how to remediate this situation please, tell me.

this looks like a permission problem.
you´re shure you got that folders chmodded 777 ???
i´m running .27 and i don´t have this error

I've set the 777 permision to folders and files named in read_me file.
What folders do you mean ?

I´ll tell you why
Because you made Forum your index page.
the only blocks you can edit now are Global Blocks.
If you´ve kept your original index page you would see every change you do on blocks.
That is your problem.
there´s no need for test acount now

OK, I will test to see what's happening if I make the portal page as first page as you said, thank you for now, I will keep you informed. 
Edit:
Ok, it seems the problem is not it.
I think that problem has started when I made some mofication about some advanced cms administration, but I did it a while ago and I do not find now here on this forum the topic or article about that modification anymore. From all I recall it was a "how to" article in the Documentation And How To section.

i´ve got that mod somethere on my HD. gonna have a look at it, probably there´s some instruction file in that folder.
let´s see.
