When I try to upload an attachment or an image into the album I cant.

The attachment error says: "Tried to upload empty file"
The album error says: "No pictures selected for upload or unknow error"

All of the proper files and folders are chmod correctly... I have checked 4 times.

Any ideas? Is this a hosting problem?

Did you apply the correct CHMOD permissions to all folders?

Yes,
I followed the instructions and properlly chmoded all the files and folders listed in the help file. I even triple check it.

I think it is not hosting problem
maybe it is something wrong with paths to image
once more take look in ACP changes you did
disable ftp if it is enabled

I dont see anything wrong with the settings I have.

I dont have FTP enabled.

I realy need help on this. My webserver hosting company must not know anything about forums because they are clueless.

If an administrator or somebody could help me out... I have a test account with admin rights they can use.

Provide a link to your site, and when I have some free time I'll go to check.

But if you have applied the correct permissions to all folders, then I think that the problem is your hosting...

Another test you can do, is trying uploading a file using another PC with another browser... because your firewall/browser under certain condition may not allow file uploading via HTTP. But I'm not sure that this is the case.

Yes, some hosts do not allow uploading of mp3, zip, and some even jpg / other image extensions! Check their small print / ask them if there are any exclusions.

Also, are you sure the upload/attachment permissions are set in ACP?

It was a hosting issue.. even though they swore it wasnt them, I finaly got a tech to check into it better.
