New Post Why Are There Still New Posts? Board Bug

Subject: New Post Why Are There Still New Posts? Board Bug
On my forums;

Even though i have clicked the "mark all items as read". The site still show them as new.
see

( Home • Forum • Rules • Control Panel • New (162) • Search • FAQ • Log out)

It shouldn't be that way.

I have the same problem when i click "View posts since last visit (163)" then i read which interest me then select all, click mark as read, but instead i am forwarded to the search page while all of them should have been marked as read and i should have been forwarded to the next page.

Any help

Go to your ACP -> Configuration -> Unread Posts => Voila - you are in UPI2DB Configuration

from there you can set how unread/read posts are managed.

I find that even when you set new posts as read I have to close the browser for the settings to take effect!

Mayby this is something for MG to look at :idea:

Yes... unfortunately some infos remain linked to the last access time... I'll try to check it when I have some free time... I think it is a minor issue.
