Well here's the problem after i press submit in the album image upload i get a blank screen, however the atachment's in the forum do work. Any ideas?

i dont know anything about icy phoenix but have you possibly done some edit to lang_album_main.php? ... just a guess  

edit: sorry forget what i said ..if this was the cause there would be more broken

Check your album config, and clear cache

Ahhhhh.... yes when it doubt check and recheck again
Didn't notice that there were horizontal menu box in album configuration. Turned out that GD library wasnt enabled.
