Regarding the recent topics block there is a reason why I left it that way which is of course less "clean" than similar topics block: the reason is straight forward: if you need a recent block to be included in some section which are not wide enough to show all columns then the "similar topics" style will make the whole page horizontally scroll...

Anyway almost all the work to convert it may be done in the TPL file of the block... if you are able enough I guess you won't need to modify PHP code... unless for remove some extra line breaks or separators.

Yes i understand why that block its in that way .But i see it so confused (sorry for my sugestion) But if its added another block recent_topic_only_for_forum transformed as similar topic to use only for forum.php at center page it will be great .Or as i have seen specially in vb they have a block at center page of forum.php ,that show together latest_topics latest post most viewed topics (somthing like this) in lines and ordered perfect . it should be amazing if it will be done in icy.Becouse as i see cause of portal you are "killing" forum :mrorange: :mrorange: . One more time sorry if i am pretending somthing other of your hardness work . But if anyone can do that mean better and BEAUTY ICY
