I'm looking for the exact banner width/height for the Aphrodite Black style for IP. I'm also interested in how or if it is possible to make the banner not stretch the format of the board but also accomodate different screen resolutions. I'm currently using 1152x864 on my computer monitor. I don't want the banner at the top of the website to repeat itself but I want it to be versatile so it will look good no matter what the user's monitor resolution is set to.
Any suggestions or ideas?

It depends on the banner you want to use...
In any case if you want a banner not to stretch you need to use FIXED width and not FLUID... so you need to add a DIV (with fixed width) into your overall_header and overall_footer.
